Dr. Eric Moyer, author of Redeeming Identity, was invited to teach at Grace Community Church, in Loveland, CO on Sunday, June 29, as part of their summer sermon series in the Psalms.

The “sweet psalmist,” David, is one of the primary contributors to the Psalms. When describing David, God called him “a man after My own heart.” (1 Samuel 8:14) To examine what was in the “heart” of David, Eric used the 4 P’s of identity to teach from Psalm 145. The call from this message was that, like David, we consistently need “more God” within our identity, so we can continue to become more of who He created us to be.

Part of this sermon was also introducing the practice of studying scripture from an identity framework, using the 4 P’s as a structure. At the end of the sermon, Eric promised access to the Identity Focused Bible Study Guide, so people could use this in their own personal study.
